FRAMED MUGHAL ART PRINT | ARTWORK TYPE 1

509.001,949.00
It emerged from Persian miniature painting (itself partly of Chinese origin) and developed in the court of the Mughal Empire of the 16th to 18th centuries. Battles, legendary stories, hunting scenes, wildlife, royal life, mythology, as well as other subjects have all been frequently depicted in paintings. The Mughal architecture was an amalgamation of Persian, Turkic, Timurid Iranian, Central Asian, and Indian Hindu style of architecture. Mughal architecture first developed and flourished during the reign of Akbar. In this period there was extensive use of red sandstone as a building material. Informed by Mughal patronage, a new style of painting emerged in illustrations made for books and albums, which combined elements of Persian, European, and native Indian traditions. These works demonstrate keen observation of the natural environment and the royal court. They also make for a unique and thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates art and culture. The Mughal style offered subtlety and finesse, portrayed almost three-dimensional figures and created optical reality. The royal court scenes, portraits, depiction of accurate flora and fauna were some of the favourite themes of the Mughal artists. These prints are created using a variety of techniques like watercolor, ink, and gold leaf, and feature intricate details and vibrant colors. From scenes of royal courts to depictions of everyday life, Mughal art prints offer a glimpse into the opulent and diverse world of the Mughal Empire. This ensures that the artwork remains in its original condition for a longer period of time. The Mughal rulers were not only known for their military prowess, but also for their patronage of the arts.
